Upon his arrival in South Africa, the 28-year-old consulted a specialist and is currently under the close supervision of the CSA medical team.

Despite the infection, Rabada’s preparation or participation in the upcoming T20 World Cup is not expected to be affected. CSA anticipates him to be fully fit for the tournament.
This development has prematurely ended Rabada’s stint with the Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, where he claimed 11 wickets in as many matches with an economy rate of 8.86.
