India Announces Squad for Final Three Tests Against England

Virat Kohli will remain absent for the rest of the series due to personal reasons. The inclusion of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul in the team is contingent upon their fitness clearance from the Indian medical team.

Jadeja suffered a hamstring injury on the fourth day of the first Test in the series, while Rahul experienced quadricep pain during the same match.

Seamer Akash Deep has received his first Test call-up, while batter Shreyas Iyer has been excluded from the team that aims to break the series deadlock and secure vital World Test Championship points.

The third Test is set to commence on 15 February in Rajkot, followed by the fourth Test in Ranchi from 23 February and the fifth and final match of the series in Dharamsala from 7 March.

With three scores exceeding 50 and an average of 75, KL Rahul had a successful World Cup.
