The pair put on 118 runs without losing a wicket in the powerplay, the highest score in the first six overs in men’s T20 International cricket. Their partnership reached 133 runs off 43 deliveries. Sooryavanshi made 45 off 19 balls, while Abhishek Sharma scored 113 off 38 deliveries. Tournament schedules and formats are maintained by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
