Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian cricketer, has been a close observer of Rohit Sharma’s evolution from a promising young talent to a celebrated figure in Indian cricket.

Sharing the dressing room with Rohit, Yuvraj has witnessed the dedication, skill, and resilience that have propelled Rohit to the zenith of Indian cricket.

As the current captain, Rohit is tasked with leading India to end a trophy drought that extends back to the 2011 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

When questioned about Rohit’s role in the upcoming tournament, Yuvraj expressed his unwavering support for Rohit to continue captaining the side.

Yuvraj emphasized the importance of a good captain who can make sound decisions under pressure, and he believes Rohit is the right person for the job.

Yuvraj and Rohit share a bond that dates back to Rohit’s early days in the Indian team. Yuvraj was part of the squad when Rohit made his debut for India in 2007.

Their relationship came full circle in 2019 when Yuvraj’s final season as an active cricketer was under Rohit’s captaincy at the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Yuvraj announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in June 2019.
