ICC & Sky's Exclusive NZ Broadcasting Deal: What You Need to Know!

ICC and Sky Ink Exclusive Broadcasting Deal for New Zealand

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Sky have unveiled a new five-year exclusive broadcasting agreement for New Zealand, covering all ICC men’s and women’s events until the end of 2028.

This landmark deal will see Sky broadcasting 16 international cricket events, including the ICC Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cups, ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups, ICC Champions Trophies, the World Test Championship Finals, and U19 World Cups.

The broadcasting schedule kicks off in June with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, hosted by the USA and West Indies. This will be followed by the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in October, and will extend through to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand.

All senior Men’s and Women’s World Cups will be broadcast live on Sky Sport and will be available for streaming on Sky Sport Now and Sky Go. This ensures that New Zealand cricket fans can follow the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS in action during top-tier global events. Additionally, Sky Sport will broadcast the No Boundaries review show following all BLACKCAPS matches.

Sky Sport’s extensive reach and commitment to providing comprehensive coverage make them an ideal partner as we continue to grow the sport and engage with audiences in New Zealand.”

Sky Chief Content & Commercial Officer, Jonny Errington, also expressed his enthusiasm about the renewed relationship with the ICC: “We know our customers value being able to watch the best of international cricket from around the world, particularly when they involve New Zealand teams in action – so it is great to be able to add another chapter to our long-standing relationship with the ICC.”
