The broadcasting giant revealed that the match, which was part of the Cricket World Cup, witnessed a ‘peak concurrency’ record with an astounding 3.5 crore viewers. This figure surpasses the previous record of 2.8 crore viewers set during the same teams’ encounter at the recent Asia Cup, and the 2.1 crore viewers for the India versus Sri Lanka final in the same tournament.
