The tournament’s Event Technical Committee gave the green light to the change on Thursday. This means that Croes could potentially take the field against the undefeated Indian team in Bengaluru this Sunday.
Noah Croes: A New Addition to the Squad
Croes has represented his country in only one One Day International (ODI) match so far. His lone appearance was in the final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in July. The 23-year-old managed to score a modest seven runs against Sri Lanka in that match.
Ryan Klein’s Tournament Performance
Klein has had a single outing for the Netherlands in the ongoing tournament. His only performance was against New Zealand in Hyderabad, where he failed to take any wickets in his seven-over spell.

Although the Netherlands have been ruled out of the World Cup semi-finals, a win against India could catapult them into one of the eight qualifying positions for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy event in Pakistan.
