Hussey Embraces Knockout Pressure
Despite the difficult situation in the IPL standings, Hussey remained optimistic, stating the team will approach every remaining fixture as a sudden-death encounter.
“I actually love this time of the tournament because every game is like a final, and we are in that situation now,” Hussey said during the post-match press conference. “We are going to have to win our last two matches. There are a lot of teams fighting for the last couple of spots in the top four.”
He noted that the pressure applies to all franchises competing for playoff berths. “This is the stage of the tournament where the pressure is really on everyone, not just us. You can see some crazy things happen. We are still in with a chance and have belief that we can make it through.”
