All-rounder Anukul Roy has joined the India A squad for the upcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the change Thursday, following Harsh Dubey’s maiden promotion to the senior national team for the home series against Afghanistan.

Roy, who represents Jharkhand in domestic cricket and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League, fills the vacancy left by Dubey. The Men’s Selection Committee formalized the transaction as Dubey prepares for the Test and One-Day International series against Afghanistan.
