Zimbabwe’s Squad for Bangladesh Tour Announced, Features Uncapped All-rounder

Leading the 15-member team for the T20I series against Bangladesh, Sikandar Raza will captain the Zimbabwean side. The squad includes uncapped all-rounder Johnathan Campbell, and sees the return of Tadiwanashe Marumani and Faraz Akram. Campbell, a proficient left-hand batsman, also bowls leg-spin.

The majority of the team remains unchanged from Zimbabwe’s last T20I series in Sri Lanka, which took place in January 2024.

Experienced players such as Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, and Craig Ervine are included in the squad. The pace attack will be spearheaded by Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava, with Clive Madande and Brian Bennett, the promising young talents, providing additional support.

Madande, Bennett, and Campbell were part of Zimbabwe’s emerging men’s team that clinched the gold medal at the 13th African Games in Ghana in March.
