Head of Performance, Steve Snell, views the tour as an opportunity for the players to compete in various formats. The selection aims to strike a balance between delivering strong performances in the first round of CWCL2 matches and preparing for future demands.
He acknowledged the lack of matches for the Men’s squad in the past six months, emphasizing the importance of providing as many players as possible with the opportunity to play, while maintaining competitiveness on the field.
Snell added, “These squads offer several players a chance to prove their mettle as we look forward to the T20 World Cup in the summer.”
